The Sodus Art Banck artist's studios are located on three floors of the
old Gaylord State Bank, built around 1895. A great fire roared
through Sodus in 1907, turning building after building into ashes until
it was finally extinguised at this very same historic site. Today
you can still see a few of the charred rafters in the Painting
Studio.
